Chapter 1: The first commission

== Chapter 1 == 07/10/1836 It is not a bad place, all things considered. The castle creaks and groans with every passing breeze. Most of the rooms remain boarded shut and the roofs leak in more places than I can count. Still, during the day I managed to make a few of the rooms somewhat habitable. Years spent working as a servant do teach one a few useful skills. For now I will sleep in the library. It has a fireplace and allows me to read whatever knowledge I can gather from these dusty shelves. I have also cleaned and opened a small workshop where I found several old tools and a few weapons. The castle is large and terribly quiet. For the moment I will continue searching the library for information. There are hundreds of books here. Chapter 0: Character creation

Hello everyone. This time, I am preparing a solo adventure for Vaesen . I had always wanted to try this game, which I discovered almost by chance and which immediately caught my attention thanks to its incredible atmosphere and beautiful artwork. The supplement A Child of Thursday is an excellent tool for solo play. However, while reading through it, I noticed a few small gaps and mechanical issues. It was really nice to discover that the same thing had happened to YouTuber Man Alone , who created a whole new supplement called A Single Lantern . I would like to thank this incredible content creator for introducing me to the world of solo roleplaying and for inspiring me to give it a try. I will also try to use the Solo TTRPG Notation .
